Instead of the U.S. Department of Justice INDICTING  Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby for CIVIL RIGHTS VIOLATIONS for falsely charging SIX POLICE OFFICERS - the USDOJ decided to make a big distraction for Mosby with this BULLSHIT NEGRO PANDERING.

Despite the court rejection of charges against the Baltimore Police Department in the Freddie Gray case, Loretta Lynch’s Justice Department is issuing a report today which accuses the police in Charm City of systemic bias and excessive force. The accusations also come with not very thinly veiled threats of retaliatory action from Washington if they don’t toe the line in the future. (AT&T News)

Baltimore police officers routinely discriminate against blacks, repeatedly use excessive force and are not adequately held accountable for misconduct, according to a harshly critical Justice Department report being presented Wednesday.

The report, the culmination of a yearlong investigation into one of the country’s largest police forces, also found that officers make large numbers of stops — mostly in poor, black neighborhoods — with dubious justification and unlawfully arrest citizens for speech deemed disrespectful. Physical force is used unnecessarily, including against the mentally disabled, and black pedestrians and drivers are disproportionately searched during stops, the report says.

In perhaps the most chilling section of the account, the Attorney General is said to be seeking a court-enforceable consent decree to force the police agency to commit to improving its procedures in order to avoid a lawsuit. It remains unclear precisely what that even means, but the general message is clear. Local policing, traditionally under the control of the state or municipal government, will be met with lawsuits brought against these same local entities if Washington doesn’t approve of their performance. What could possibly go wrong?

What would the Bud Billiken parade be without a bunch for colored boys with guns???

For 35 years the South Shore Drill Team have been a Bud Billiken Parade staple, wowing parade-goers with their precision and beauty.

But this year the team is choosing not to be part of the annual back-to-school event, and parents of members are angry at parade organizers.

"They need to revisit this and take a look at this," said parent Fletcher Williams.

"It's definitely a slap in the face," said Misha Mondon.

Chicago Defenders Charities, which runs the parade, is undertaking cost-cutting measures for the 2016 parade, including shortening its length. In past years the parade has lasted as long as six hours; this year, organizers say they can't afford such a long event.

"A smaller parade, a shorter parade is a lot more manageable than a larger parade," said Marc Sengstacke, executive director of Chicago Defender Charities.

To achieve that end, organizers have reduced the number of entries and imposed a 100-peron cap on the number of people in each group. For the drill team, that means cutting their head count in half. In the past the drill team has had as many 300 participants in the Bud Billiken Parade.

"You're asking us to do something that a good parent wouldn't do. If you have children, you would not divide your children," said Clifton Underwood, senior advisor for the South Shore Drill team.

So the team says it won't participate unless Bud Billiken officials lift the cap.

"I really hope they reconsider. It would be a big, big, big thing for us. It would mean a lot to the kids," said Roney Nelson, drill team member.

"Because of the current circumstances, we have to apply a rule fairly to everyone. And it's a difficult situation," Sengstacke said.

Instead of marching in the Bud Billiken Parade, the drill team plans to perform on its own Saturday morning at the Gary Comer Youth Center before marching in another parade in the suburbs.

A former African-American worker at a Culver's restaurant in south suburban Orland Park said a white manager-in-training left a racist display for her to find when she showed up at work.

Diamond Williams said when she confronted the co-worker who did it, he told her he meant it as a joke. But to her it was downright terrifying.

Williams said she came into work at the Culver's on the morning of July 16 to a re-creation of a Ku Klux Klan hanging, made up of water cups and straws.

"If I were to be a customer walking into the store, it would be just right there," Williams said. "This was behind the register."

Scared and in shock, Williams said the crude display was left up for over two hours until the restaurant was set to open. When nobody said anything, Williams said she brought it up with the general manager.
